Location: Edmonton, AB
Project Value: $6.2 Million

Architecture | Tkalcic Bengert (with Johnston Davidson Architecture + Planning) have been commissioned to design the new Heritage Valley Fire Station located in the Heritage Valley Town Centre Neighbourhood. The site design and the building are based upon providing the Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) with a project that will ensure excellent response and suppression coverage for the area. In addition to meeting the programmatic requirements, the project is designed to obtain a LEED®-NC Silver certification and the structure is designed to meet the post disaster requirements of the Alberta Building Code.

This project is the first civic building within the growing residential community with the intention to serve as an anchor point for the emerging urban fabric planned for the area. The project incorporates community access, as the majority of the site is accessible to the public by way of sidewalks.
