Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Project Value: $4 Million

Completed in 2008, this project exemplifies direct experience in successfully designing an outdoor aquatics facility in a cold climate, incorporating all facets of the typical indoor competitive and leisure components within the challenges of the outdoor environment.

The program incorporated retrofitting the existing Fred Broadstock Outdoor Pool, a City of Edmonton owned and operated swimming pool. The concept was to adapt and revise the existing dive tank to provide leisure aquatics, including spray and waterfall features. The existing under-sized main lane tank was redesigned to accommodate the addition of diving boards. Change room renovations and pool system upgrades were also accommodated in the renovation.
